projecthonduras.com is more a movement than an organization. The movement is based on information, ideas, and a loose configuration of individuals and groups doing their own thing. This informal structure is a strength because it encourages independent and creative thinking and action. But there are times when having a traditional, legal structure comes in very handy. It is this structure, for example, that allows us to do neat things like put on a conference each year. And that is why we work under an affiliation with Special Missions Foundation, Inc., a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization based in Georgetown, TX. 

There is a strong collaborative aspect to this relationship which draws on our respective skills and talents. So in the end what you have here is more of a partnership than anything else... without which life would be infinitely more difficult.
