The Honduras Aid Map (H.A.M.) is an interactive map of Honduras that identifies organizations that have been working in the country. Click on a department in the map to find a municipality. Each municipality is represented by a red ball. The capital of each department is represented by a red box. Once you're in the map of a department, click on the name of municipality, and that will take you to a list of groups that have been or are presently active in that city, town, or village. The purpose of the H.A.M. to facilitate access to individuals who can provide information, contacts, and guidance with regard to certain areas of Honduras. The idea is to build on and benefit from the experiences of others. There is no point in re-inventing the wheel.

The names of the organizations represented in the H.A.M. are listed on the left hand column. Click on the name to go to the group's website.

For a good satellite imagery map of Honduras, see Flash Earth. For the closest imagery, click  Google Maps. For labeled imagery, click on Microsoft VE (labels).

The idea for the H.A.M. was first proposed by Jerry Thompson of Special Missions Foundation at the Conference on Honduras 2000.
